Dr. Allen Y. Masry

Dr. Masry is a board certified in both addiction and Adult Psychiatry. He has many years of experience in the treatment of mentally ill, chemically abusing client’s since 2007. Due to Dr. Masry’s passion for addiction psychiatry he pursed and completed training in addiction psychiatry at Roberts Wood Johnson. Dr. Masry has a passion for teaching and engages in many various volunteer teaching assignments. He holds the title of assistant clinical professor at Rowan school of osteopathic medicine. Prior to that he was an assistant professor at University of Massachusetts and was heavily involved in the addiction fellowship program when it was in full swing in 2008 until 2011. He has won various words in teaching including most recently in 2017 from Rowan School of osteopathic medicine. The award was for best teacher in Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Masry has been awarded the coveted title of Distinguished Fellow American Psychiatry Association. This is one of the highest awards granted in that organization. Dr. Masry he has held various administrative including temporary Chief of Psychiatry at Ancora State Hospital.

Dr. Murtuza Tameem

Dr. Murtuza Tameem is a Board Certified Physician.He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Addiction Medicine in New Jersey since 2020. He completed his residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, and currently works as a Hospitalist for St. Joseph’s Health in Wayne, NJ. He is also Medical Director of Eva’s Village and provides medical, substance use and behavioral health care for Eva’s residents. Additionally, Dr. Tameem teaches Clinical Skills at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and serves as faculty for HARM reduction group, and is a teaching faculty at St. Joseph University Medical Center. He has worked on state legislature to help pass MATE act and CARES act in 2021.

Dr. Indra K.Cidambi

Indra Cidambi, M.D. has been practicing addiction medicine since 2006, after completing her Fellowship in Addiction Medicine at NYU/Bellevue. She is Board Certified in General Psychiatry as well as Addiction Medicine. In the past, she was the Director of Chemical Dependency at Summit Oaks Hospital and later founded her own substance abuse treatment program, Center for Network Therapy, which offers Ambulatory Detoxification, Partial Care and IOP programs at two locations (going to three soon) in New Jersey. Dr. Cidambi not only innovated to the Ambulatory (Outpatient) Detox model for all substances of abuse – alcohol, benzodiazepines and opiates – in New Jersey in 2013, she helped to increase access to addiction treatment through the utilization of this lower-cost/higher-efficacy outpatient detoxification model. She has worked with various media outlets to bring attention to the Ambulatory Detoxification model. Dr. Cidambi has also been in private practice since 2005 treating individuals afflicted by the disease of addiction in general and performing office-based detoxification utilizing buprenorphine. The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) has recognized Dr. Cidambi for her contribution in proving the model to be safe and effective. After serving as the Vice President of the New Jersey chapter of ASAM for two years, she was elected President this year and was additionally appointed as the alternate director for Region 4.
